Even being wed to top UK agent Al Parker could not save her… The Australian actress, busy in British films, simply messed with the wrong dude - director (and co-producer) Stanley Donen. Johnston walked out. Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman started all over with Calvert as her sister. What a difference. Such a consummate professional, she completed her role, even though her husband had died the day she signed her contract.
