- Vernon Wells, Innerspace, 1986. After shooting all his scenes, poor Bercovici (a third generation film-maker from New York) was found wanting in the intimidation department… for a villain. Martin Short re-shot all his scenes with the much taller Wells as Mr Igoe. Director Joe Dante loved the premise: Imagine Dean Martin is miniaturized and injected into Jerry Lewis’ butt.
