James Gleason, The Night of the Hunter, 1954. Not happy with Lynn’s take on Uncie Birdie Steptoe, debuting director Charles Laughton called up Gleason. Lynn remains in some of the eight hours of out-takes restored by the UCLA Film & Television Archives.
