- Bruce Reitherman, The Jungle Book, 1966. At 14, the TV teen tested for voicing Mowgli the Man Cub. He did not stand a chance! Bruce was the 11-year-old son of the classic toon’s director Wolf Reitherman - and had already voiced Christopher Robin for Winnie The Pooh and the Honey Tree. He later became a field biologist, naturalist, expedition leader and natural history documentary maker.
