Benny Hill (1925-1992) |
|
- Jacques Marin, Darling Lili, 1970. A surprising No - to Blake Edwards and his wife, Julie Andrews - from Alfred Hawthorn Hill, Britain's first comic created by TV (rather than music-hall and radio). He took his name from Jack Benny.
- Michel Serrault, Le Miraculé, 1986. As popular in in France, as most everywhere else, Hill backed out at the last minute of this Jean-Pierre Mocky farce about the miracles and tourism exploitation of Lourdes.
