Murray Kinnell (1889-1954) |

- Harold Huber, Girl Missing, 1932. Kinnell and William Powell were among the chosen who did not, in the end, make the the early talkie quickie - shot in two weeks. Two years before, Kinnell helped Bette Davis into the big time the heat before by introducing her to his London pal, George Arliss - who made her the fiancee of his Man Who Played God.
- William Stack, Tarzan and His Mate, 1933. Quite suddenly the Londoner was replaced by Stack as Tom Pierce. The character’s name was, perhaps, a tribute to the 1926 (and radio’s) ape-man James Pierce.
