The guy from the Madness band was seen for Colin in Julien Temple’s film of the Colin MacInnes novel. “I wish he’d got the part,” said Patsy Kensit, aka Crepe Suzette - a fan of his Madness band. And a singer herself with Eighth Wonder. “We’ve cast Pasty and Eddie,” said Temple, “because they’re absolute beginners, they are new to this.” (Not Kensist, a veteran at 16).
