- James Gounaris, The Godfather: Part II, 1973.
- Ron Howard, Happy Days, TV, 1974-1984. Howard wasn’t hot on being Richie Cunningham, and “being a teenager the rest of my life.” Producer Garry Marshall promised graduate toadulthood if the series ran long enough. Howard promptly quit his USC Film School course to headline the show. Didn’t do him any harm, he won two Oscars for producer-directing A Beautiful Mind in 2002.
