Jean-Pierre Léaud, Les quatre cent coups (US: The 400 Blows), France, 1958.   All the kids tested by critic-turned-auteur François  Truffaut  for the lead role of his first feature wound up playing the classmates of  Léaud’s schoolboy  hero, the cherished “Antoine Doinel, Antoine Doinel, Antoine  Doinel…” Fontanarosa’s only other role  was in Truffaut’sLa mariée était en noir in 1967… headlined by Jeanne Moreau who had an uncredited walk-on in Les quatre cent coups as… Woman With Dog.
