Fans were shocked when “Dr” Hendry quit assisting John Wickham Gascone Berresford Steed after the first 25 episodes, when the production was left with six scripts that the budget would not cover any re-writes. “So,” said the main writer Brian Clemens,“they brought in Honor and she played the man’s part.” And really put theshow on the map.
