River Phoenix, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,1988. Among the young actors seen and testing for the flahbacked young Indy (getting Harrison Ford’s chin scar), was a handsome French guy. Dubosc, who resembles Alain Delon, is an actor-turned-comic-turned-actor-turned director with 63 screen roles as of 2017. Having co-starred in his favourite film, Mosquito Coast, Ford told George Lucas the best teen Indy would be Phoenix. Dubosc is one of the few French stars to have been in the famous UK soap, Coronation Street – as, a French loverrr.

A BOND MISS

It’s more doubtful that the next Bond will be Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Not because his name is longer than any 007 title. But from August (and instead of Adam Driver, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeve or John David Washington,) he has his own Marvel to nuture,. Kraven the Hunter – fifth film in the Spideyverse. (Aaron was an Amazing Spider-Man contender in 2010). He’s also into the WWII bomb heist, Fuze, and joins M-that-was, Ralph Fiennes, in the 28 Years Later chapter from Danny Boyle – who, of course, directed Daniel Craig and his ultimate Bond Girl, The Queen, for the 2012 London Olympics.
