Gig Young, Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, 1973.     The Canadian stand-up satirist – father of the  new wave of comics – had too busy a diary to allow him tol be Quill. Whether he would have played him ambigously gay, as suggestegd by his screen pal, Robert Webber (and OKed by director Sam Peckinpah) will never be known.  His 17 screen roles can best be summed up by one of his 60s titles: Johnny Cool.
