David Gautreaux

  1. Leonard Nimoy, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, 1978.      When a dumb Paramount finally agreed on a Trek movie it was an instant flop, aka The Slow-Motion Picture. With a cast that was a decade older and fatter plus Robert Wise totally wrong as director. With back-pay issues, Leonard Nimoy first refused to return as Spock, so a new Vulcan, Xon, was dreamed up and given to a total unknown. The studio then paid off Nimoy and compensated Gautreaux was with Commander Branch.
