1. – Peggy Mount, Doctor Who #151: The Greatest Show in the Galaxy, TV, 1988. The cameo of the Stall Lady went to another character actress – a star for 15 minutes (Mount was a female Brian Blessed, forever booming away…). In 118 screen roles over 66 years, Hayes was a fine foil for comedy icons Tony Hancock and Benny Hill, and the star of the 1971 drama classic: Edna, The Inebriate Woman. She was also famous as Henry in Norman and Henry Bones – The Boy Detectives (Norman was future Carry On star Charles Hawtrey!) on BBC Radio Children’s Hour in the 50s. I listened, mouth agape, to almost every episode!!
