- Tim Turner, The Invisible Man, TV, 1958-1959. In the pilot, Robert Beatty supplied the voice of the invisible hero (following experiments on guinea pigs’ refractive index to that of air, it says here). In Episode #1, it was Lee Patterson. In #2, Paul Carpenter. After these Canadians (the producers were thinking of the US market, and CBS took the bait), Tim Turner, a true Brit with a mid-Atlantic delivery, voiced Dr Peter Brady for the next 22 chapters.
