Angela Lee

  1. Aileen Quinn, Annie, 1981. Some 8,000 kids were seen in a two year national talent hunt, 70 were auditioned – and 69 escaped an itchy red wig and having Alpo rubbed on their faces to encourage the damned dog to kiss them. Angela lost Little Orphan Annie but John Huston, helming his first musical at 75, kept her aboard as the sleepy orphan in the “Hard-Knock Life” song ’n’ dance number. She later voiced Lucy van Pelt in the Carlie Brown and Snoopy TV shows.
