Colin Irving

1. – Paul Rudd,   The Cider House Rules, 1999. While scripting his book, John Irving   suggested  his son, Colin, for  Lieutenant Wally Worthington. Colin was an unknown quantity and ultimately too old after a decade Development Hell, as directors switched from Phillip Borsos to Michael Winterbottom  to Lasse Hallström. Finally, Colin played  Major Winslow his fourth and last acting credit. after starting  in his father’s The Hotel New Hampshire, 1984.
