1/2 – Michael Wisher & Dennis Chinnery, Doctor Who #78: Genesis of the Daleks, TV, 1975. The first choice for Davros preferred a stage play to the first appearance of the Daleks’ creator. Roy Skelton also passed on the role with Doc4 Tom Baker. The South African Ballie was also thought suitable for Chinnery’s Gharman – and did play Dask in #90: The Robots of Death, 1977. He also appeared in Aunty’s less triumphant sf series, Blake’s Seven, 1978.
