Eula Morgan

  1. Mimi Aguglia, A Bell from Adano, 1944.       Change of Rosa from the WWII-torn Italian town requiring a new town bell. In John Hersey’s book, the US Army supplied a modest ship’s bell. In Hollywood, it was a full blown carillon. Morgan was later Phoebe Couvais in Chaplin’s Monsieur Verdoux, 1946. Instead of a busy Hollywood character actress (1937-1969)), the IMDb photo of the Sicilian Aguglia makes her look like a silent movie vamp.
