2. – Tura Satana,  Faster Pussycat! Kill!  Kill! 1966. The Japanese-Filipino-Scots-Irish-American Indian ET of a stripper from the Losers club  told  Russ Meyer that  her character needed more balls. “You are definitely Varla,” said he (switching Haji to Varla’s lesbian lover, Rosie).  Tura proved it again  by refusing his rule about  no sex during the production. She’d get cranky if she did  not have it every day, she said. And to give a good performance (near the Mojave desert (110 in the shade) she needed to be relaxed – and that relaxed  her.  Never with  Meyer. She relaxed, daily, with assistant cameraman Gil Haimson.
