Don Taylor (1920-1998) |

- Jack Carson, Red Garters, 1954. Seemed like a novel (cheap!) idea... A Western musical with stylised stage sets. The ingenue was dropped, the director switched, Don's footage junked and Jack replaced him - as much out of his depth as was (George's aunt) Rosemary Clooney. Taylor then became, essentially, a TV director - until striking it rich with Damien: The Omen II, 1978
