James Thierree

  1. Sami Bouajila, Mirage d’amour avec fanfare, France, 2009.        This should have been the 25th film of Thierree, Charles Chaplin’s grandson.  (They are clowns who look like clones). However, actor Bernard Giraudeau’s health barred him from going to Chile to direct his seventh feature. He watched rushes at home on Internet and made his comments on Skype and the official credits would read: A film by Bernard Giraudeau and Hubert Toint, directed by Toint, written by Giraudeau. He died from his cancer a year later. The film was never released. Thierrée had a huge French hit with Chocolat, co-starring the nation’s favorite – Omar Sy –  in 2016.
