Jay.C Flippen

  1. Charles Kemper, On Dangerous Ground, 1950.     Before beating five heavyweights (Lee J Cobb, Albert Dekker, etc) to Walter Brent in  the snowy mountains thriller, Ward Bond was also up for “Pop” Daly – alongside Flippen, Way Collins, Wallace Ford.
  2. Ted de Corsia, Ride Vaquero!  1952.    On July 29, 1952,  The Hollywood Reporter proved yet again that it was not Variety, by announcing that character star Flippen  had been cast in skirt-chasing director John Farrow’s first MGM feature for MGM.
