Jules Munshin, Take Me Out to the Ball Game (UK: Everybody’s Cheering), 1948. Three ball players as opposed to the usual Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra sailors in Kelly’s tribute to the early days of baseball, circa 1909-1911. So who better to complete the trio than the actual Brooklyn Dodgers manager! Except his Irish Shaughnessy wound up as the Jewish Goldberg… and Munshin then became the third sailor On The Town!
