Peter Ostrum, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 1970.     Oliver!  In the mix at 12 but Charlie Bucket went to a Dallas kid, aged 13 – and he never made another movie, becoming a vet in later life. “When the picture was over, it was like it had never happened. I returned to school and by the time it was in theatres I’d changed a lot so I wasn’t even recognised much.” Lester, now an osteopath, could be the biological father of his friend Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris-Michel K Jackson.   Oliver! was Jackson’s sperm dealer.

Chris and Martin Udvarnoky, The Other, 1971.       Writer-producing the adaptation of how own novel, ex-actor Thomas (ex-Tom) Tyron wanted the UK’s Oliver as the farm country Perry twins, Niles and Holland. One is good; the other, not so much. The Udvanoky lads were studying in New York with Herbert Berghof… wed to their screen grandmother, Uta Hagen. This was their only movie. They were born in 1961 and Chris was an emergency technician when he died in 2010; Martin became a massage therapist in New Jersey.
