As true Phans know, the old woman in the rocking chair outside The Tall Man’s house and next to Mike-the-hero on the hearse (still woith me?), is the fortune teller from the first film – played by Shaw in 1978. Here, she was embodied by a still unidentified lady and voiced by Bross, wife of the heroic Mike: A Michael Baldwin (as opposed to The Michael Baldwin?). Director Don Coscarelli remains one of the few franchise creators to admit that IV was made – shock! horror! – “just to make money out of the series.”
