Mr T

  1. Max Kellerman, Rocky Balboa, 2006.        For the end of the Rocky saga, Sylvester Stallone wrotean“elaborate” sub-plot for Clubber Lang, Mr T’s role inRocky  III, 1982. reminiscent of George Foreman, who became a ringside analyst. “In the script, he was doing blow-by-blow commentary and also talking about his new profession of being an evangelist in the making.I thought it was wonderful because he was describing what it was like to fight Rocky Balboa while Rocky was fighting someone else. Unfortunately we couldn’t meet the actor’s financial requirements because we didn’t have enough money to buy fax paper, so I replaced him with HBO commentator Max Kellerman.”
  2. Daniel Craig, Cowboys and Aliens, 2011.       The great title (better than the movie) had been stuck in Development Hell since 1997 which explains why such superstars as Mr T (!), Brendan Fraser and Chuck Norris were invited to saddle up as the outlaw hero Jake Lonergan. So were Jackie Chan, Robert Downey Jr, Bill Paxton, Kurt Russell and Bruce Willis.
  3. Terry Crews, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, 2012.       Change of Earl Devereaux when T passed reprising the voice for the sequel. Much of Earl’s body language was redrawn to reflects that of Crews, the US football star of the LA Rams, San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins, Germany’s Rhein Fire… and  Sylvester Stallone’s Expendables.
