  1. Peggy Knudsen, The Big Sleep, 1944.      After the film was first seen by UServicemen in the Philipinnes in the summer of ’45, director Howard Hawks made various changes. Extra scenes penned by Philip Epstein for Humphrey and Lauren Bogart – including their “depends who’s in the saddle” banter – and re-shooting Clark’s work as as Mona Mars. Of her seven films, 1945-1948, Clark was uncredited thrice and dropped once.
