For porno-director Jack Horner, he booked a moany Reynolds – who, despite winning his first and only Oscar nomination, quit PTA’s next feature, Magnolia. The short’s Horner, Ridgely, was not forgotten. PTA wrote him a special character called The Colonel in what proved his 147th and final screen role.
