Sarah Brown

  1. Rose McGowan,  Charmed, TV, 2001-06. After auditions by the many, exec producer Aaron Spelling decided that Shannen Doherty’s replacement would be Rose. And not Sarah,  hailed by  TV Guide as “the superb, ferocious actress of unparalleled complexity” – winner of three Emmys (for General Hospital, TV, 1996-2001)  before she was 25. She rejoined GH as a new character in 2008 for a further 300 episodes. Rose McGowan was the first actress to blow the whistle on producer Harvey Weinstein as a serial rapist – and, indeed, on Hollywood’s everlasting rape culture.
