  1. Jane Krakowski, Alfie, 2004.    Saturday Night Live’s first female head writer rejected Dorie in the first of two Michael Caine films  re-made with  Jude Law. (Sleuth, 2007, was even more nonsensical).  Jane also came from US TV – Ally McBeal, 1997-2002.

Ashley Jensen, Gnomeo and Juliet, 2010.    Fey, Angelina Jolie and Nicki Minaj were also in the mix for the Scottish frog (aka Nurse) in this red vblue  garden gnomes’ take on Shakespeare  (voiced by Patrick Stewart)  with, of course, producer Elton John’s songbook – Benny and the Jets, Rocketman, Your Song, et al.Bard jokes included  the As U Like It moving company… and   the Tempest Teapot truck.
  3. Tracey Ullman, Into The Woods, 2013.
  4. Ariel Winter, Mr Peabody & Sherman, 2013.    Fey, Elizabeth Banks, Ellie Kemper – even Meryl Streep – were heard for voicing Penny Peterson, classmate of Sherman, the adopted human son of Mr. P, the  most amazing time-travelling dog!
  5. Anne Hathaway, The Intern, 2014.    One upon  a shelved time,  auteur Nancy Meyers’ tale of a  fashion website boss  bonding with  an elderly intern – Robert De Niro!  – was greenlit at Paramount. And then not.
