Vinnie Jones

  1. Andrew Howard, Revolver, France-UK, 2005.    Just not into the Guy Ritchie-Luc Besson project.  Nor, it seems were Guy Ritchie and Luc Besson.
  2. Hiroyuki Sanada, Rush Hour 3, 2006. In the mix for the villain Kenji (with Tony Jaa, Steven Seagal,  Jean-Claude Van Damme and Wenzhuo Zhao) when director Brett Ratner’s Jackie Chan-Chris Tucker road show hit Paris.
  3. Ricky Gervais, Stardust, 2007.   Vinnie was seen for Ferdy – eventually improvised (mainly) by Ricky… “Two-faced dog!” “Very good guard dogs. They can watch the back and the front door at the same.”
  4. Steve Austin, The Condemned, 2007.   Wrasslers of the world, unite! The WWF wrestling star known as  Stone Cold, swopped roles with the ex-British soccer star, known as The Axe, and became the hero as soon as the World Wrestling Federation decided to back the crime thriller via WWE Films – World Wrestling Entertainment.
  5. Kim Coates, Hero Wanted, 2007.    Vinnie was all set to be Skinner McQueen – but was held up on  Clive Barker’s Midnight Meat Train.
  6. Scott Adkins, Weapon, 2010.   Scott took over Roland Flint when director Russell Mulcahy quit the Jean-Claude Van Damme thriller.
