- Paul McGann, Doctor Who (The Movie), TV, 1996.
- Stuart Milligan, Jonathan Creek, TV, 1997-2004. In the pilot episode, The Wrestler’s Tomb, Head was Adam Klaus, the magician employing Creek to dream up magic turns for him. Then, he quit after winning a Hollywood gig as Giles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. 1996-2003. Enter Milligan… by sleight of hand.
- Christopher Eccelston, Doctor Who, TV, 2005.
- Clark Gregg, Much Ado Abut Nothing, 2012. Change of Leonato in Joss Whedon’s lively Shakespeare update. Something of a home movie as Whedon shot it in his Santa Monica home – in 12 days – re-decorated by his wife, Kai Cole, and featuring a whole bunch of Whedonites from his films and series. Such as Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Clark Gregg, Nathan Fillion, Ashley Johnson, Sean Maher, etc.
- Alfred Molina, Monday Mornings, TV, 2013. Tele-icon David E Kelley offered Dr Harding Hooten to Heald, but he felt it much the same as his other Kelley rôle in Boston Public, TV, 2000-2004 And, anyway, he had a stage gig. So Kelley wrote him a smaller rôle: Mitch Tompkins. Monday made it to Wednesday, axed after ten shows. Not every Kelley creation conquers.
