(MacDonald later committed suicide that year, a month after his divorce). Noonan took over for the re-shoots. He is John Ireland’s half-brother, made the 1953 Gentlemen Prefer Blondeswith Marilyn and Jane but remains best known for co-writing and sharing Promises, Promises with a topless Jayne Mansfield in 1963.
