Armando Gutierrez

  1. Thomas Ian Nicholas, Walt Before Mickey, 2014.    Gutierrez was booked to play the lead in this crummy, Disney-approved biopic, of Walt Disney’s early period.   For three days, the Floridian actor tried to be Walt and couldn’t hack it.  (Director Khoa Leto made him, Disney’s pal, animator Ub Iwerks). Andrew Keegan was offered the role but refused due to Disney’s anti-Semitism.  Kegan’s pal, TIN (American Pie’s Kevin) took over but the bio was picky with the truth, variously inaccurate and as wooden as Pinocchio. Love him or hate him, Walt deserved better
