1. – Danny Lee, Dip hyut shueng hung (US: The Killer), Hong Kong, 1989. Chow Yun-Fat insisted the thriller be made and his studio had to agree. It did not want Chu Kong as Inspector Le, however. And Kong agreed. He had not made a movie since the 70s and felt he was too old for the cop. He took on a smaller role and John Woo brought in another previous Yun-Fat co-star: Danny Lee. And a classic was made.
