David Ogden Baillie

Michael Wisher, Doctor Who #78: Genesis of the Daleks, 1975.      Because of the mask, Baillie (and Roy Skelton) passed on playing Davros. Wisher rehearsed with a paper bag over his head. So he wonthe creator of the Daleks. He was not free when Davros came back later and Terry Molloy became the definitive Davros in four tales with three doctors: Doc5 Peter Davison, Doc6 Colin Baker and Doc7 Sylvester McCoy, during 1984-1988. Molloy was so famous in the role, his secret appearance in the 25th anniversary season opener, #148: Remembrance of the Daleks, 1988, was hidden behind the the anagramatic credit of… Roy Tromelly. Baillie had been Dask in #90: The Robots of Death, 1976.
