Dickie Moore

  1. Russell Hopton, Born to be Bad, 1933. Brown, the future Tony award  winner (for Damn Yankees), was first booked to be Steve Karns in the third Cary Grant-Loretta Young teaming. He proved  unavailable for re-shoots, and first, Jackie Kelk, then ex-child star Dickie Moore (he have Shirley Temple her first screen kiss, “first time I kissed any girl”) took his place.  Kelk was said to be physically wrong for Karns –  so he beat Mickey Rooney  to… Mickey Strong.
