1. –  Louise Fletcher,  Thieves Like Us,  1974. Ex-child actress and Mary Martin’s  Peter  Pan  understudy,  “Tewkes”  was actor Michael Murphy’s suggestion for  the Robert Altman clan.  She was part of his Talent  Trust,  helping  script this re-make  – and writing Nashville.  She took  a  cameo  instead of playing Shelley Duvall’s mother –  the return of producer Jerry Bick’s wife, en route to an Oscar within three years.
