Kristen Chenoweth

  1. Aileen Quinn, Annie, 1981.  Some 8,000 kids were seen in a two year national talent hunt; 70 were auditioned. Including two other future celebs: Drew Barrymore and the sexy Showgirls  find,  Elizabeth  Berkley. Young Kristin’s Oklahoma accent was too thick for Little Orphan Annie (originally planned as Little Orphan Otto!). So, she escaped an itchy red wig and  having Alpo rubbed on her face to encourage the damned dog to  kiss her.  Kristin was Lilly St Regis  in the 1999 tele-re-hash.
  2. Renée Zellweger,  Chicago, 2002.
  3. Christiner Baranski,  Chicago, 2002.
  4. Mandy Moore, Tangled, 2009.      Kristen and Dan Fogler were first tapped by Disney to voice Rapunzel and her bandit amour, Flynn (ex-Bastian) Ryder. “Being a Disney Princess,” said Mandy, “is every girl’s ultimate dream.” Not to mention starring in Disney’s 50th animation feature. Also in the loop: Natalie Portman, Reese Witherspoon – and the co-stars of #51, Frozen, Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel.
