Phil Ochs

1. – Christopher Jones, Wild in  the Streets, 1967. The folk singer and songwriter was keen on trying movies but not AIP’s tale of Max Frost, a  rock singer who gets the voting age reduced to 14 and is, consequently, elected US President. Ochs said the script “presented the 60s’ youth counterculture in a badly distorted light” – like lacing the Washington, DC, water supply with LSD to blow the minds in Congress..
