Over the years from 1997, Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, Jon Voight, etc, had made de-aged tests; Harrison Ford always denied being contacted for the role(s). Elizabeth Debicki was slso seen but MEW won Danny and the key line to Will’s enemy: “I know why he’s as good as you. He is you!”
