Ray Simpson, Can’t Stop The Music, 1979. Willis quit The Village People when producer Allan Carr would not let Mrs W, Phylicia Rashad (Bill Cosby’s TV wife), play Victor’s lover. Continuing to make even a pseudo-biopic about a famous group without its main force was as daft as a Beatles movie minus John Lennon. A total waste of everyone’s time.
